Set something on my glasses by mistake. Tasha went above and beyond to fix them for me as she straightened them as well.

Pregnant patient: Administered tetracaine eyedrops without giving any acknowledgment of what the eyedrops were nor option to decline. She (Eliason) had knowledge I was pregnant. You are NOT supposed to give tetracaine to pregnant patients because it’s a category C drug. Complete negligence on the doctor’s part. I would have kindly declined the eye pressure test if given an option or used puff of air for the test. She just started throwing eye drops into my eyes. I had no idea they were numbing drops because I’ve never had them before. I would consider it medical malpractice and negligence. I honestly would recommend everyone to decline the eye pressure test if they use tetracaine. It’s not a fun experience. Burns the eyes during and after. Then you can’t feel your eyes for 30+ minutes. Then even hours afterwards my eyes were still irritated. Use the puff of air for eye pressure test! Dr. Eliason will just throw numbing eye drops into your eyes without giving you any knowledge, she is very pushy about them. She even explained how she was trying to administer these drops to a 12 year old girl, who did not want them, for contact lenses! Not even for an eye pressure test, just to put contacts in! I see why the young girl did not want the eye drops!

My teenage daughter and I had a horrible experience here with the doctor! She did an eye exam on me and prescribed me contact lenses that I could not see with. Apparently my appointment was over when she was in the middle of deciding which contacts were best for me and suddenly went off into the exam room with another patient without finishing with me. So I stood there in the waiting room wondering what I should do. Confused, I started to leave and then decided to at least go back to the desk and see if I was, in fact, done with me appointment and was I supposed to pay anything. I was, in fact, suppose to pay, but the doctor never directed me back to the front desk. She just left me hanging! When she did my daughter's exam, my daughter said she made her feel very uncomfortable for some reason and couldn't put her finger on exactly why. My daughter was so excited to finally try contacts at 16 years old, after years of glasses, but the embarrassment the doctor put her through trying to teach her how to put them in and out in a super rushed and frustrated manner (to the point my daughter started crying from the stress of it IN FRONT OF EVERYONE THERE BECAUSE THE DOCTOR HURRIEDLY TRIED TO TEACH HER IN THE WAITING ROOM WHERE EVERYONE WAS AKA *NO PRIVACY*! and my daughter HARDLY EVER cries), she was so traumatized and humiliated by the way the doctor was treating her as if she was stupid for not catching on right away in front of a crowd, that she has decided never to pursue contacts again:( And then, 9 MONTHS later, we get notification that her contacts are finally in! What a joke! I have been going regularly to eye doctors for almost 30 years and I have never in my life seen such unprofessionalism! I will never step foot in that office again! We are SO HAPPY that we switched our family over immediately to another business. It's like night and day in comparison to this place!
