Dr. Yang was professional, fast, reassuring and patient. He took time to explain everything to me in ways I understood. Anna, who helped me with my glasses was the highlight of my visit. She was friendly, considerate of my financial concerns, and it was abundantly clear that she cared about my experience. I am transgender and Anna spoke to me with care and respect, referring to me properly without needing to be asked. I have never been to lenscrafters before, but I know I won't be going anywhere else now.

Everybody was very nice but I’m not sure my needs were met. I specifically made an appointment because I recently started having flashes of light in my vision and I wanted to have someone review photos for retinal detachment (or other issues). The require you to have a full exam I guess to look at that, so I got a new lens prescription. Everybody was very nice, but when I had the photos taken the came out blurry so no analysis could be made. I asked if we could take more photos but this was declined because I ‘blinked too much’ (which if someone had mentioned that during the test I would’ve remedied it. I wasn’t told at all they were having issues obtaining a photo). To summarize/be clear: my complaint isn’t that the photos came out blurry so nobody inspected my eye. My complaint is that: 1. I got charged for the photos we didn’t use 2. They refused to retake the photos (maybe that costs them a lot idk? Maybe you’re only allowed one shot because it’s expensive? Who knows. If you are having eye concerns, please just to go see an opthalmologist. Note: they did offer to dilate my eyes but for a few reasons I couldn’t do that, which is why I went somewhere that could take the photos.

The salesperson, Ashley, is a bit rude in the way she treats customers.

Really good service experience with glasses we bought here. They fixed my kid’s glasses once, then another time tried really hard to fix them a second time. Has to buy replacement frames but they made the process easy for that, too.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
