  My brother was apprehensive about overnight care. He has lived alone most of his life and values his privacy and independence. Cecily A. was the caregiver the first night. When I arrived at 5 the next morning, Brian told me she was very nice, easy to talk with, and—most importantly—she didn’t step in unless he asked. That meant a lot to him as he works hard to stay independent. Cecily was also able to clearly report how the night went, including how often he got up and whether he needed help. Home Instead was recommended to me by a friend who used them for his father, and I’ve found them knowledgeable and easy to work with. Cecily’s kind, respectful approach was exactly what Brian needed to feel comfortable with overnight care.

  We highly recommend Home Instead to anyone who needs compassionate and dependable care. My mom has two Home Instead caregivers each week. Both Saham and Emily are friendly, hardworking, attentive and respectful. This has been a very positive experience for our whole family.

  My mom has 2 AMAZING caregivers, Allie and Susan!! They both go above and beyond for my mom and our family! They are so kind and always let my mom know she is not just a client to them. I can fully trust them to do anything for my mom including taking her to doctor appointments, so much so that when she was at a dermatology appointment, the doctor did not notice a spot on her arm but they did…it turned out to be stage 3 melanoma! I can’t express enough how much they have helped my mom and myself, I work full time and with their support I have so much peace of mind knowing that my mom is not only taken care of but I know they both generally care about my mom!! I really can’t say enough good about both Allie and Susan, I truly will never be able to express how wonderful both of them are and how much they have changed our lives! We will be forever grateful for Susan and Allie!!

  Home Instead is an excellent agency to work with. I needed extra help for my mom during a difficult transition into memory care. They assisted her with all activities of daily life (feeding, toileting, etc) as well as companionship. The Home Instead office staff, nursing staff, schedulers, and the aides were all so easy to work with. Billing was straightforward. I want to recognize Faiza for the care she showed my mom on some particularly hard days. Such a sweet and attentive person!

  5 Stars for Cecily! Cecily is an outstanding and compassionate care professional for my mom. After her stay in a transitional care unit, assisted living was recommended, but my mom preferred to remain in her own home. Cecily has been a blessing, providing excellent care and support. She is incredibly helpful with housekeeping tasks, which ensures my mom’s safety and reduces her fall risk. Cecily always inquires about my mom’s needs, whether it’s cleaning, changing sheets, or emptying trash. Her thoughtfulness truly shines; when my mom needed assistance going to church, Cecily came dressed for the occasion, and when plans changed, she kindly stayed to watch Mass with her. With Cecily, I feel like my mom is being cared for by family. She is both thoughtful and kind, making the transition much easier. My mom was initially apprehensive about having a stranger in her home, but we have found a wonderful friend in Cecily. I can’t express how grateful we are for her support.
