  Doctor care = A. Optician services = F. It's now almost 8 months since my eye appt and still do not have glasses I can see out of! I will NEVER order my eyewear through Pearle again. Local management unresponsive to disability accommodation requests and correction of their staff. Corporate has not responded either. Get your prescription and then get lenses and contacts elsewhere. If you want contacts, also get a consult elsewhere. They discourage extended wear contact lenses on the basis of liability and have very limited supply of contact options and frames. If you are a Medicaid beneficiary, they have only a handful of frames in their showroom and there are approximately 500 frames covered by insurance. Every time I went, the staff discouraged my selection of the complete available selection of insurance-covered frames. If I had support to go elsewhere, I would have sought Optician services elsewhere. FYI, You can get data from your insurance care coordinator on covered frames. Or go to a showroom that offers the dignity of choice to Medicaid beneficiaries. Or just seek care elsewhere.

  I want to give them NO STARS I wasn’t even going to write this review because I understand that working in customer service means not every day will be a good day. But this Pearle Vision location is trash. The way customers are treated here is unacceptable, especially when it feels like they assume people only come here because they’re using state insurance. My first bad experience was on New Year’s Eve. I came in 45 minutes before closing to purchase Meta glasses which means I was literally coming in to spend money there. The woman at the front desk, who is also another employees wife, had a terrible attitude. I was later told she was upset with her husband, and that’s why her demeanor was off. Regardless of the reason, customers shouldn’t have to deal with that. The second bad experience happened when I came to pick up my glasses. The staff seemed completely unorganized and uninformed. I walked in and the person at the front desk was eating food, then asked me if I had been helped as if I was just standing there for fun. Meta should know that the staff here does not know anything about their products, which is a bad representation of both Meta and Minnesota state insurance providers. The overall attitude toward customers makes you feel like you’re a nobody. Also, stop putting the only Black employee in positions to smooth things over when issues happen. That’s not fair to them, and it doesn’t fix the real problem. 0/10 experience. My kids and I will not be returning.

  The receptionists at the front desk have always been welcoming and helpful when I go in. Dr. Augdahl is the best! I’ve been coming to this location for over a decade just for him! He’s so nice and knowledgeable.
