Just very recently I discovered I have a cracked tooth and was referred to this office by my dentist. This all happened the day before I was supposed to leave on vacation. I called to schedule an appointment. The person that answered the phone was super helpful. She answered all my questions and scheduled me in the next day. Jessica assisted with the procedure. She was super kind and helpful answering more questions while I waited for the doctor. And my wife forgot my antibiotic at home and we had to grab a new prescription before leaving the state. She called it in to a Meijer in Trenton! Dr Lehal - top notch! Fast, kind and very professional. I highly recommend them! Great place!

Dr Sclafani removed my daughter’s wisdom teeth. The experience from start to finish was great! He took his time and made sure any of our questions were answered. The whole staff was friendly and helpful!

I had a large piece of tooth break off, and called to schedule an extraction. I was informed that I would need to see my dentist to obtain a referral. I didn’t have a dentist that accepts my current insurance and asked if Summit could offer the number to one who did. I was given the number to a dentist who I then saw and got a referral to have the tooth extracted at Summit. When I called Summit back to schedule the extraction, I was asked if the dentist I had seen did X-rays, and if they could email them over. I informed the scheduler that X-rays had been done, and I would ask that they be sent. A prior authorization was submitted to my insurance company which came back reflecting that the procedure was FULLY covered. Less than 24hrs before my appointment I received a text message informing me that my insurance “will not currently cover” a specific kind of X-ray that this office prefers over the X-rays already taken and billed to insurance. Therefore I will be charged $86 for EXTRA X-rays (I don’t need) because my insurance won’t cover another one. I waited 3 weeks to get in praying that more of the tooth doesn’t break off resulting in a dental emergency, just to have to cancel less than 24hrs before my appointment. This office was my FIRST call when my tooth broke. If SPECIAL X-rays were policy, the time to tell me about it was when they sent me to another dentist for X-rays and a referral. Not the afternoon before my appointment and after non preferred X-rays were already taken and charged. It appears that this office is just trying to bleed extra money out of patients by charging for additional imaging that isn’t necessary. Now I’ve had to cancel my appointment with less than 24hrs notice, and they better not even think about trying to bill me for it!!!! I have wasted 3 weeks, putting off other matters till this is resolved, waiting for an appointment for nothing, and prolonging my anxiety and discomfort. Seems like a fraudulent scheme that traps patients into paying for unnecessary imagery, and giving such short notice of the charges that if the patient cancels the appointment then they potentially face being charged for canceling with less than 24hrs notice. I HATE going to the dentist!! Myself and family members have had a good experience with one of their doctors in the past, and that’s why I WANTED to return here for this procedure. I trusted this place with my dental care needs during a time when I find it difficult to trust anyone, and sadly this experience has left me highly disappointed!! Poor quality office policy, and procedure will prevent me from ever returning here or recommending them to anyone moving forward.
