  I couldn't ask for a better place to have my surgery done. I had the best doctor a person could ask for. And the whole team of ladies were the best a person could ever ask for. If I could give them more than 10 stars I would. Thank you so much traverse city eye

  They are very organized and efficient here. They gave me a very good checkup and I’ve been getting care done for my eyes from a young age. They helped me update my prescription and add a new feature for my astigmatism that I hadn’t known of prior. They did a great job.

  I was extremely impressed with every aspect of my cataract surgery at TC Eye in March 2026. The attention to detail to ensure I understood and was comfortable with every step along the way was excellent. I received an itemized estimate three weeks before surgery. I received written and electronic reminders for all of my appointments with detailed preparation instructions when needed. But the best thing was the quality of care I received all through the process. I had LASIK back in 2000 and had an excellent result . So Dr. Hochstetler explained that I really had only two safe options for new replacement lenses - either mono-focal or advanced LAL (Light Adjustable Lenses). I certainly felt that the decision of which replacement lenses was mine. I was provided with plenty of information, exact costs, and unbiased guidance if I asked. I choose the advanced LAL (Light Adjustable Lenses) and I am more than satisfied. Dr. Hochstetler, using UV light wavelengths was literally able to correct the lenses after they were in my eyes. So I had the choice to see clearly far away, or s blend between near (reading) and far. I ended up with 20/10 vision so I am more than satisfied!
