Had an appointment today I was going to be arriving a little late due to going to wrong location. Which was on me. I called to let them know I would be arriving one minute late to my appointment. Outside of the 10m grace time. I asked if me and my daughter would still be able to be seen? The rude nice nasty receptionist said no. Then she asked the doctor with said no as well said my daughter could be seen but not myself. So I politely decided to go to another location due to treatment. Of just being one minute later. I would for sure just go somewhen else I do not feel bad about spending my money and good care… it’s a no thank you and have a good day for me..

visited this location on 12 Mile and Telegraph intending to purchase new eyewear using my vision insurance and FSA funds. While I observed the staff being warm, welcoming, and attentive to every other customer in the store, my experience was the polar opposite.
I was greeted with a dismissive "What do you want?" rather than an offer to assist. Despite being a serious customer ready to make a purchase, I was treated as an inconvenience. There is a specific kind of "polite" disrespect where a staff member smiles while completely ignoring your needs and prioritizing others; that is exactly what I experienced here. If you value consistent, equitable customer service, I suggest taking your business elsewhere. I certainly will be.

All trees is an All-Star! I’m here from out of town and my glasses broke and I came into LensCrafters here in Southfield at 12 mile in telegraph and she was so gracious and kind and gave me a sample pair of contacts so I could safely drive back to Indiana and I am so grateful! I had an appointment here for an eye exam and to purchase new frames on 2/22/26 at 11:20am. I assumed since it was early and on a Sunday it wouldn't take long... I get there by 11:05, was greeted, told to look around then asked to confirm who I was and told I should be seen soon. I walked around at least 3 to 4 times. A gentleman that came in after me, left then came back was called back to the eye exam area before me! Its around 11:28 now, multiple people have come in, been helped or were in the process of being helped but nothing had been said to me since I walked in. So by 11:37 and still nothing had been said to me, I canceled my appointment by text and left. This was my first and unfortunately my last time coming here. I really wanted to like this place because it was extremely clean
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
