Profound Lack of Professionalism and Basic Empathy I am writing this to express my absolute shock at the treatment I received from the pharmacist, Dr. Suresh. While I understand that retail pharmacy is a high-pressure environment, there is no excuse for the verbal hostility I encountered today. When I attempted to relay my concerns regarding a specific medication, Dr. Suresh chose to talk over me loudly, effectively silencing the patient he is tasked with serving. When I politely requested that he allow me to finish my sentence and refrain from being rude, his response was to begin screaming at me over the phone that he wasn’t rude ! hahaha. A pharmacist’s role is rooted in patient care and safety—two things that cannot be achieved when a provider is having a temperamental meltdown. His behavior demonstrated: • A Total Lack of Professionalism: Screaming at a customer is a failure of basic workplace conduct, let alone clinical practice. • Zero Empathy: Patients call with concerns because they are seeking guidance, not a confrontation. • Volatile Communication: Talking over a patient prevents the exchange of vital medical information, which is a significant safety risk. People visit Kroger Pharmacy to have their health needs managed, not to be berated by a clinician who appears unable to regulate his emotions. If Dr. Suresh is so unhappy in his role that he must resort to shouting at patients, he should perhaps reconsider a position that doesn't require public interaction. This was an embarrassing display for the Kroger brand.

The 3rd time I called, I waited 15 minutes for someone to answer. When the Pharmacist answered, he never really listened to my question and was very rude and demeaning. Now looking for a new pharmacy.

Short hair and glasses older lady opening up today should maybe learn time management, opens at 9am and at 901am she’s waving me away saying “I’m still opening” ok well it’s 9am. Says open at this time. Wasted a trip here for my dog’s medicine then. Going to somewhere else that’s less rude and knows time management and doesn’t take it out on customers

Some of the pharmacy techs are very helpful and some are not. The pharmacist himself is very rude. My insurance requires I go to Kroger or I probably would not.
