I've been visiting Pearle Vision in Rochester for 15 years and Dr Clark remembers me every time. He ensures you are comfortable and never judges or makes you feel bad if you aren't perfect. He wants you to be able to see the best you can, however that looks for you. He wont even laugh when you come in because your eyes are blurry and you can't read a single letter on the eye chart, including the big guy at the top, and you ask Dr Clark if you are blind now. Instead, he will check your eyes and may tell you that you have an ulcer because you slept in your contacts when you know you shouldn't. You may brace yourself for the disappoint on his face but he'll gently remind you that this is what happens and as punishment, you have to use eye drops and where your actual glasses for two weeks. So bonus points for the lack of guilt tripping and understanding that life is hard. His staff is friendly, helpful, and looking out for you whenever they can. Don't know all the details about your insurance because you don't get an insurance card for eye care? No problem. They will look into it and see what they can find for you. You need new glasses and don't trust your judgement? They will watch your eyewear fashion show and give you some honest feedback. Unfortunately, they will most likely make you do the test that puffs air in your eye but they'll be as nice as they can about it which I personally appreciate. Basically, if you're looking for a low stress, positive eye care experience, visit my friend Dr Clark. He'll take good care of you.
