I don’t know why everyone is whining about this location. I got my blood work done there this morning and it was great. In and out in less than 5 minutes, and staff were friendly. Don’t let people with a bad attitude or crappy veins tell you otherwise. And the people making all the “need more training” comments, you try poking 50+ people in a day. It’s not that easy, especially when you people are nasty and negative. Be a little more respectful and treat people with kindness.

If I could give more stars I would. The first time using this lab and my overall experience was fantastic, from the greeting when I walked in, the customer service (they helped me use the kiosk to scan the bar code), to the young lady that drew my blood. I am a hard raw I have very small, deep and rolling veins, I asked that she use my hand, she got it on the first try, no pain, no bruising and you can barely see where she drew from. Excellent!!!! So much better than the Oshtemo location on Stadium, where they are rude, refuse to see you if you do not have an appointment, get rude if you do not have the barcode to scan.

Very prompt service when signing up for a scheduled appointment. Staff is very friendly and helpful during my visit. Highly recommended.
Blood draw, pretty simple procedure, wait time was kinda long for my scheduled appt, 8am arrival, blood drawn at 8:36am...but it was painless and the nurse was courteous and apologized for the wait...
I have been going to the Gull Road location for over a year and have never had any issues. I was happy to see the Otsego Lab come into my area. I have been with Bronson 30+ years. I have never experienced any issues until I decided to try the Otsego Lab. I checked in at the kiosk and took a seat as instructed to do. Once seated, the receptionist asked if I had my lab order on me. I have bloodwork done every month and my orders are always automatically put into My Chart. Immediately she proceeded to make me feel incompetent. I tried to show her the information under My Chart. She would not look at it. She called my doctors office and then found the orders. Then she had to argue with me that I wasn't in the Otsego schedule. Once again I tried to show her My Chart. I was in there. Lastly I was informed a week later while getting an IV for a procedure, the vein the lab drew blood from was blown. It had a hematoma. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this location. They need some more training.
