  Pool area closed since December and they keep giving us different dates of reopening and we are half way through March, still closed

  This is a great place to workout. The people, both staff and members, are friendly and welcoming. I’ve never felt overcrowded. It also has a pool which most others don’t.

  Powerhouse Gym in Novi looks great at first blush. However, after spending a few months in this gym, it’s obvious that all they care about is figuring out ways to get even more $ out of their members. Sure, they have all kinds of initial fees, monthly fees and annual fees. In addition, the gym is littered with attempts to gouge members even more. There’s a lousy smoothie bar with small and tasteless drinks for $10. Some kind of injection place for weight loss, towel service (you guessed it, for yet another fee) and on & on. Now, with all that $ you spend, let me tell you what you DON’T get – a well maintained gym. All kind of equipment is either entirely broken or sticks so badly that it is impossible to use. Nearly half of the special coded lockers are also broken. The big kicker, though, is that they advertise that they have a huge pool and whirlpool. They have been completely down for several months and in the past year have only been operational a few days at a time. Skip this gym!”
