- JPJacqui Arielle Pabalan2 days ago2.0Came in being told I needed immediate attention by my optometrist for an eye ulcer. Was told they didn't have their cornea specialist around and even if the specialist was around they couldn't help anyways because they needed to get cultures from my eyes. Fine, made sense. Was instead told by them to go to the ER because "they could do something for me". Thank god I didn't listen to them. Went back to my optometrist and was told the ER couldn't do anything for me and sent me somewhere else that immediately got me in for an emergency visit for my eye and found out I need constant/frequent checks that the ER would not be able to figure out for me right away. I don't doubt OSM has great services from the looks of reviews of people who successfully made their appointments and received the care they needed but the misinformation could have cost me my eye if I didn't go back to my optometrist right away. Don't come here if you need immediate attention on a medical concern that requires constant care.
