  This Planet Fitness needs more cardio friendly machines like "the Nu Step" to service their senior clients. There is always a line to use their lower impact machines while they always have fifteen or more idol treadmills and elipticals at any given time. There is never a wait. They should not agree to participate in the silver sneaker program "that helps them financially support their location" if they can't realistically service a senior clientele. It is obvious that they cannot when you have such a long line to use this machine. They only have two of these machines lower impact "cardio friendly machines" at this facility and they are always in use. One has been down this past week and you can't get to a machine at all now without a long wait. There were eight of us there vying for the machine yesterday around 11 a.m. It makes no sense when they are located in an aging community and participate in the silver sneakers program that helps support their gym (for the younger generation) why they do not have more than two of these machines for seniors. When you complain they just shrug their shoulders and say they've told corporate. Then they won't give you corporate information to contact them. Apparently we are not their demographicl. If that is the case then I feel they should not make money or enlist in the silver sneakers program if they are not agreeable to support and accommodate the senior population who require the lower impact machines. They need to get rid of a couple treadmills and elipticals that are "always idol" and get two more nu step style machines to service the senior clientele that are also loyal customers during the day. I feel management has their head in the clouds if they feel gyms are only for young healthy people . . . there are many of us that are trying to just maintain our mobility and who need access to lower impact machines. We are your customer too!

  I’m wondering if there can be something done regarding “gym-timidation” at this location. I love the equipment and staff seems friendly- I’ve been coming here for a couple years now. Today I had an extremely unpleasant encounter with another gym member. I was using one of the cable machines and this man walked up to me and asked me how many sets I had left which is fine. But then he proceeded to ask me if I could move to another spot because HE wanted to use both cable machines side by to side to do chest fly. Why should I have to move so he can use two pieces of equipment? I continued on my workout after I politely told him I was not going to move to another spot on the cable machine, but he *stood there* in front of me staring at me to purposely make me uncomfortable until I was finished. I thought the whole premise of this place was a non-intimidating gym experience. I might have to find a new gym if this is going to be allowed. **My suggestion is if they could turn or stagger the cable machines then that would solve the problem. I noticed other members are being approached to move as well so that these men can use two cable machines side by side to do chest flies. and I don’t think that’s fair.**
