  The woman dentist l(can't remember her name) was awful didn't listen when I said stop. Even pushed my head harder into the headrest extracting a tooth. U yelled stop she still didn't listen. Pain was so bad I had tears running down my face and still she didn't care she went to grab another tool . I tried getting up and that's when she pushed. I had to grab both her arms and hold them back so I could get up. I walked out. Never going back again!!!

  This office is disorganized, judgmental, and alarmingly irresponsible. We came three separate times for my 10-year-old child’s tooth. First visit: “It needs to be extracted.” We schedule the extraction. Next visit: “Actually, take her somewhere else — it might be saved.” That office requests X-rays. Suddenly this office flips again to “No, it needs to be extracted.” A changing treatment plan every visit isn’t care — it’s incompetence. The final visit was the worst. A staff member named Barbara was rude, condescending, and completely inappropriate. She questioned whether I had ever taken my child to a dentist, made comments about how “severely decayed” the tooth was, and responded with “what a shame” while I was explaining the situation. Instead of helping, she chose to judge. What truly crossed the line was that an implant was suggested for a 10-year-old child. We later learned from a new dentist that this is not recommended or appropriate at that age. The fact that this was even brought up is deeply concerning. Barbara also repeatedly fixated on what “insurance won’t pay for,” as if that justified the lack of professionalism, compassion, or safe guidance. Parents come here for medical expertise — not lectures, misinformation, and attitude. I left feeling blamed, disrespected, and honestly disturbed. If you value clear communication, basic respect, and safe pediatric dental care, do not bring your child here. We will never return.

  We were visiting from out of town over Christmas and my adult son had what turned out to be an infected tooth. We are not patients of this practice but I contacted them to try to get him seen (this was late on a Sat night). I sent a Facebook message and within minutes had a response. They called me on Sunday to set up a Monday appt. They saw him and were able to prescribe meds that provided him relief during our week of vacation and he was able to follow up with his dentist when we returned home. So appreciative of the quick response and willingness to help in a time of need. 5 stars for that reason! Thank you Lapeer Family Dental!
