- DFDenelle FleetMar 29, 20261.0Warning: pushy upselling. After giving me a comprehensive exam that showed no problems, they wanted to upsell me an expensive unnecessary debridement and bite guard. When I said no thank you, they refused to clean my teeth. They treated me like I had done something wrong because it had been 2 years and 7 months since my last appointment. The dentist complimented my dental hygiene and said "keep up the good work". I said well then can I get just a cleaning and the hygienist spoke up and said she recommended a debridement because my X-rays showed a bit of build up. The dentist literally just told me my teeth looked great and I had no signs of decay or gingivitis. What happened was I caught them before they could confer. So, I got a second opinion and my teeth have been cleaned, and I got a brand new cool toothbrush! No debridement, bite guard or guilt trip...
