Shout out to Emily/Shivam and their team at Knapps Corner. They set me up with flexologist Taylor to help rehab me back to the BJJ mats. This was due to myself (43m)making the not so smart decision to start BJJ in my 40s. I fully support anyone, at any age to participate in BJJ. Just don't pretend that your body is still 20! Taylor is a real one and competes in BJJ. She knew exactly what was wrong with me and helped rehab me back to my midlife crisis hobby. So in summarization STRETCHLAB= SMART. ME= NOT SO MUCH. Thanks STRETCHLAB KNAPPS CORNER!!

Long story short – I have been going here for about 8 months and recently decided to cancel my membership. It’s always been expensive (~$160/month for two 50-min sessions), and up until recently was worth it. But not any more. Pros: The facility is clean and new, the stretching sessions themselves are helpful and therapeutic. And every employee who has conducted my stretching sessions has been kind, professional, and responsive to needs for each session. Cons: There are a few. -First, because of employee turnover/attrition as well as presumably increasing membership, it’s nearly impossible to book anything anymore. There’s just no availability unless you’re booking out 3-4wks in advance, which doesn’t work for a lot of people. This in and of itself wouldn’t be a big deal, except… -The ‘credits’ (prepaid stretches) you buy monthly only rollover in small quantities. You pay every month, and if you don’t book anything (and it’s impossible to do so now) you can lose most of that money. -When you go to cancel, like many gyms, they tell you it’s going to be an additional month to cancel the membership. Which is more money you’re out because they don’t have any availability. I requested the owner call back to discuss, but have yet to hear anything. I will update if I hear back. If they can get their staffing sorted out, OR if they limit membership to the correct size for their staff levels, OR if they let credits roll over without limit, I would recommend. But not in the current situation. Update: I have amended my rating, as I heard back from the owner, who had seen this review as the impetus to call. They clarified that a limited amount of credits will carry forward into the next month, yet regardless I had still lost some that I wasn’t able to book over the course of my membership. In my opinion, these should not expire. They also were willing to waive the 1-month cancellation delay, although I wonder whether that would have occurred without leaving a review.
