  I'm 66. There were 2 reasons I took my old rear-end to Miracle-Ear: I got a wonderful, big coupon if I got my hearing checked and the fact I kept turning the TV up louder and was worried my hearing really was getting worse. The receptionist for the clinic was an exceptional young woman. After my kids got in their mid to late 30's, everyone looks very, very young to me. I hope calling her a young woman wasn't insulting to her because it wasn't meant to be. Anyway, she was very nice, seemed happy to be at her job, laughed at my attempts at humor and answered any and all questions that I had. On to my exam...the woman who did my exam really knew her stuff and boy, did I have a thorough exam! I do have 'mild' hearing loss, not necessary to get hearing aids as of yet, but keep an eye on it, so to speak, because it will only get worse, it's never going to get better or reverse itself. The eye specialist or doctor (I'm not sure if she was an opthalmologist, optometrist or optician) was very nice and of course, knew what she was talking about and gave me a crash course on exactly what she found through the testing. She couldn't be sure what would happen as I aged, but she had a pretty good idea and explained hearing aids a little to me and the cost and what my insurance would pay if I got them the day I was there. The whole appointment was completely free and I got a nice coupon to the store of my choice, too. The 2 women I met, also, didn't treat me any differently because everything was free. They treated me with great respect and kindness and took their time to explain everything to me in case I opt for hearing aids in the near future. My advice to anyone looking for a place to have their hearing tested, especially if they are unsure about the process and what the problem really is, please go to a Miracle-Ear, you will be glad you made that choice.

  Very nice people. They sent my aid in for warranty work and gave me a loaner for the holidays.

  Went to Miracle-Ear after having a bad experience with a competitor. I was skeptical anyone could help my failing hearing. I had just lost the hearing in my right ear due to a benign ear canal tumor. So Susan tried to fit me with a basic unit to see if that is what I needed. After a trial period, I still had some hearing loss. Susan then fitted me with a specialized cross over system that made the hearing much better. She made the switch at no additional cost. Regular follow up visits have fine tuned the unit, again at no cost. She knows what she is doing, and is very accommodating as to followup appointment times. I would recommend her to everyone.
