Everyone was so kind. I loved the staff. Unfortunately my peel didnt work. There was no tightening, peeling, or even flaking. A different peel was used and I dont feel it was effective at all. I do believe that they will help correct my situation.

Dr. Fasahat Hamzavi is the best! I have been seeing him for almost 20 years. He has taken care of all of my skin care needs. He is professional and compassionate. He always takes time with me and listens to everything that I have a concern with. And most importantly tells me when my diagnosis is wrong! I strongly believe if you were looking for a dermatologist within the St Clair County or Sanilac county area, Dr Hamzavi is the person for you! He has offices in Grand Rapids and the Detroit area, too!
And his staff is wonderful!

I'm very grateful to have consistent quality care from Hamzavi Dermatology. I always receive a clear explanation of the care being delivered and any follow-up service needed. The staff are courteous and timely. From reception to discharge I am confident in the care I receive.

I did not feel as if they took my concerns seriously. I went in for a bump on my upper arm. They did a hole punch biopsy and it came back as dermatofibroma. The RA or whatever she was in black scrubs insisted it was caused by scar tissue. But the scar tissue around it was from my scratching at it trying to get rid of it for the past three years. When I told her this, she sarcastically grinned as if to say, she knows better and I'm just a stupid patient. "Labs don't make mistakes" she said. "They use microscopes." After leaving I did my own research to learn dermatofibroma are only linked to pre-existing scar tissue in 20% of cases. I've lost confidence in the quality of care at this establishment and probably will not be back. I feel like I spent a lot of money and was not given any real thought and consideration to my diagnosis. I left with the same questions I had before my initial visit as to whether there is something I should be concerned about related to my health that's causing these nodules to appear for the last few years, which is a new thing to me.
