  I love this place! Everyone was welcoming the receptionist,the dental hygienist and the Dentist. I came for a deep cleaning and left feeling even more beautiful! Peace and blessings 😍🥰 10/10

  Went her for a tooth extraction nothing more nothing less. I informed staff I was pregnant upon arrival, they chose to proceed did a cleaning and sealant which never asked for. I asked the hygienist are they going to do the extraction before he started because if not I would’ve left seeming I was there for over 2 hours. Then they sent me home in pain stating I need a letter from my doctor. They could’ve said that upon arrival. They did CT and X-rays while I’m pregnant but that didn’t require my doctor approval?

  I am new to the Detroit area and learned of this dental office a few weeks ago. I heard several of the comments and read quite a few reviews prior to making an appointment. I was greeted by a kind gentleman, Rafi. I worked on an executive level in hospitality for over 20 years and as soon as I was welcomed by Rafi, I had a real good feeling about my choice. Rafi checked me in and gained the pertinent information necessary for the visit. A few moments passed and I was called back for X-rays. I was quite excited about the advanced technology and equipment that this office utilizes. I had just recently had an X-ray done four weeks prior at another dentist office and this equipment in this office is quite advanced, to say the least. After the X-rays were processed, I was seated for the consultation. Dr. Karana entered the room with an awesome greeting, introducing himself. His first question - are you having any problems or discomfort that requires immediate attention. This doctor set with me for 25 minutes. I noticed staff members were attempting to gain his attention and he never rushed to end my consultation. He set right there until he explained the assessment of the X-rays, my options and plan. Over the course of years, I have spent thousands of dollars on my mouth - from an accident, gum disease, root canals, bridges, partials etc. This was the first time I have ever experienced intentional, authentic concern from a dental office. I will add here that the location might not be located in the very best area. I quickly learned that this office is in place to offer the people in this community and surrounding areas an opportunity to be served, with empathy and kindness. The doctor never voiced it, but this doctor has a heart. Grateful. As I aforementioned here, I worked in hospitality for decades and I believe that it is important to hear and learn from what the customers say. I can't apologize about the length of my review here. It is important that others know the strategy behind businesses. WOW Dental on 8 Mile is in place to serve the people. Thanks be to God that this establishment exists in such a time as this.

  This review extends to every human - set of hands that has cared for me at this office. I initially set out to write a review after three separate encounters, but after a subsequent visit, it became clear that the consistency here is not incidental—it’s cultural. From front desk to clinical staff to providers, every person I’ve interacted with has been exceptional. The care is thorough, respectful, and coordinated. I never felt rushed, dismissed, or handled as a transaction. Each interaction reflected professionalism, competence, and genuine attention to patient comfort and outcomes. Notably, this is the only dental review I’ve ever written, which speaks to how meaningful the experience has been. When an entire team shows up with this level of consistency and care, it deserves to be acknowledged. Highly recommended.

  I took my husband in for x-rays and a consultation, and as soon as we walked in the door, we were met by a young man disassembling an instrument tray that contained used instruments, syringes with attached needles, and bloody guaze! I also observed the young man manually removing needles from syringes! No one knows if microscopic drops of blood splattered from that tray and were undetectable or not! I'm sharing this to say that the Hep B virus lives on surfaces for 7 days or more, even if we don't see blood! I also observed workers who looked like they had just rolled out of bed! I was told that they were in the middle of renovations, but who does this at the only entrance to the building, and in plain sight of patrons??? As an RN, I was so disturbed that I chose to cancel the appointment and return to my husband's prior dentist, eventhough it's quite a distance from us! I couldn't be more disappointed, especially after reading all of the great reviews that people have given this place! They also don't have adequate parking and signs to the entrance out front!
