  The absolute BEST!!! I’ve had two teeth removed by Dr. Thompson; one today and the other two years ago. Dr. T did an amazing job both times. Everything about this practice and doctor is top-notch. Best experience ever. Dr. T is an excellent doctor, very knowledgeable, and on top of that, he’s SO kind and friendly!! He really puts you at ease. He also isn’t rushed at all; he takes his time to explain everything and let you ask questions. Wonderful human, wonderful doctor. I can’t say enough good things about him and this practice. They take my insurance and are also *in-network* with my insurance. The cost was more than fair. They also got me in the same day when I was having horrific pain. I will never go anywhere else to get a tooth removed! Ten stars out of ten. Thank you so much, Dr. Thompson! 😊

  I have been seeing Dr. Thompson yearly to monitor an existing oral condition. I have been dealing with a completely separate issue, unrelated to my mouth, for a few years and have seen numerous doctors and specialists and no one has been able to help. I went last month for my check up with Dr. Thompson. After his exam and listening to my concerns, he ran an additional test. This test revealed an answer to the issue that no other doctor was able to find! He started me on a treatment that started to ease my symptoms immediately. He continued to follow up and suggested that I see a specialist in this area to run additional tests. Finally, after years of suffering, Dr. Thompson, a specialist in a completely different field, was able to start my healing process and guide me to resolve the related issues. I am so grateful for him, his knowledge, care, concern and follow-through. I highly recommend Dr. Thompson and his staff is amazing too!

  I had the best experience at Icare oral surgery. I really was nervous, and they REALLY made me feel extremely comfortable. From the time I walked in the door, every single person was SOOO VERY nice. Dr. Thompson was AMAZING! He definitely makes you feel super comfortable and makes you feel right at home. I would recommend this place to anyone that’s forsure.

  After taking time off work, and coming to the office I was being told that I would need to pay $86 for another panoramic image, I decided to cancel the consultation appointment. As someone who works in the dental field, I know that a diagnostic panoramic image taken less than a week ago is entirely sufficient for evaluation. Being told that the image I already provided could not be used simply isn’t accurate. It’s frustrating because situations like this can easily feel like an unnecessary attempt to generate additional revenue from patients who may not know that duplicate imaging in such a short timeframe is typically not clinically necessary. I can understand if the quality of the image was not good but that simply isn't the case. Thankfully I’m familiar enough with dental imaging and standards of care to recognize when something doesn’t make sense, but many patients wouldn’t question it and would simply pay the additional fee. That’s what makes the situation particularly disappointing. Coming from an office that typically refers to this oral surgeon I'll have to speak to my employer about where we continue to send our patients.
