  We had an excellent experience with Home Instead during my father’s transition home from the hospital. Shirley served as our liaison and truly did everything in her power to make sure the process was smooth and well coordinated. She completed both an in-hospital assessment and a home assessment, and was extremely communicative in making sure our expectations were understood and met. She arranged outstanding caregivers for us, Edwin and Jil, who were both professional, capable, accountable, punctual, and most importantly, genuinely kind. It made a very stressful time much easier knowing my father was in such good hands. Home Instead also has a very straightforward cost structure and a simple 24-hour cancellation policy, which we appreciated. If we ever need in-home care again, we will absolutely return to Home Instead. Highly recommended.

  Home Instead in Clawson, MI has come to our rescue three times over the past several years. Each time, my dad gets sick and we quickly need to find help. They are responsive, very quick to get set up, and provide incredible care. We feel safe knowing my dad is in the care of the Home Instead Clawson Care Pros. They are really lifesavers! Thank you!!

  Home Instead was wonderful. When my mother was being discharged from the hospital and needed 24/7 care, I was able to get a hold of Home Instead right away and get mom scheduled for the care she needed. The nurse, Jill, met us at the hospital before mom was discharged and took all the time we needed to answer all of our questions. Once the caregivers started coming, I could easily add or subtract items to be taken care of each day. Their on-line Family Room space was a great way to keep track of mom's schedule, invoices and feedback from her caregivers. As mom improved, it was very easy to change her caregiving schedule to meet her needs. Jill did an amazing job matching mom with just the right caregivers to complement her personality. I highly recommend Home Instead and I have great confidence that we will be well taken care of if we ever find ourselves in need of their services again. God bless you all!

  Home Instead caregivers provided exceptional care for our mother over the course of the last five years of her life. Increasingly frail elders can require flexibility in managing needs and schedules, and over those years the Home Instead scheduling staff was 100% professional, empathic, and supportive. Over those years, our family and our mother felt a better sense of fit with certain caregivers, but in our interactions all were kind and caring. For our family, most of whom live out of state, this Home Instead office and its caregivers were the difference between worry and the confidence that Mom had reliable, caring, and skillful support. We are deeply grateful.
