This studio markets Pilates but does not deliver a professional or authentic Pilates experience. Instruction lacked consistency, technical precision, and proper sequencing. Management issues compounded the problem, communication and studio standards were extraordinarily poor, concerns raised for help were dismissed, and basic operational standards were not met. During my membership of over a year, drinking water was not reliably available, which should never be the case in a fitness studio. A wellness space should model expertise, professionalism, and basic care for clients. This location failed to do so. I would recommend learning authentic Pilates elsewhere.

Update: Nick, please feel free to call me. I have emails that show Michelle suggested I pay for the membership in November and that they would update the start date to my first class. She asked me to tell reception when I came in - not to email. Frankly, she could have updated the start day on the day we talked because we booked my first class on the phone - which was for December 10th. This week, in an email she agreed that she had said the membership would begin on my first class and adjusted that date, but did not adjust the billing. My first month of membership has another 8 days - it isn't even over. I have submitted everything to Chase for them to refund the second month, but that is not how this should have gone. Original review: I had been nervous to join Club Pilates given the bad reviews that I've read for this location and others. Unfortunately, things I had read in bad reviews are now happening to me. When I signed up, I was out of town and spoke to the owner on the phone. She told me to go ahead and sign up then and that she would move my start date to the date of my first class. She asked me to let someone know when I came in for my first class and that it would be adjusted then - I did this and was told everything was set. Then I was billed on the wrong day - it was based on when I had spoken with the owner, not based on when I started. So I requested my start date be updated (again) and to refund that payment. They updated the start date, but they refused to refund the payment. I decided to cancel because I do not like the classes. They are now refusing to refund the month they had already charged when my renewal is still not for another 8 days. This is really shady. As someone who has worked out at a lot of studios - I highly recommend avoiding Club Pilates. They are not ethical with their billing, their class quality is low, and it is hard to book classes due to lack of availability.

Very happy at Brighton CP so far! I love that there are so many class times, even Sunday! The staff is very warm and welcoming as are the other members. I’m so happy that I joined!

We went for a free introductory class, we were not allowed to increase tension to make it harder, but ok. At the end membership was discussed and discounts for some groups were discussed. My boyfriend is a Marine Corps Veteran who was injured in Iraq asked what about veterans discount? The answer is no veteran discount, corporate policy….not you know let me look into that….Veterans are why we have freedoms, but they are not good enough for a 10% discount.
