I am a chronically Ill adult. I started having SEVERE frequent vomiting fits 5 years ago after starting a certain diabetes medication. I kept telling docs it was that med but they were biased and wanting to blame cannabis even though I did not meet the typical CHS qualifiers other than smoking (age, gender, length of time having smoked). After several hospitalizations I ended up switching to Dr Jessica Reed. She was great, at first. She was young and listened.
While seeing her, I started getting much sicker with the severe vomiting spells and kept ending up back in the hospital. At the same time it was getting incredibly difficult to see her with her patient load so we started a series of calls while I was sick and she finally believed me about the medication and told me to go ahead and stop it. I started smoking again too after many month and suddenly the symptoms finally all went away. I went in after that to see her and she immediately tried to restart the medication and had no idea what I was talking about. What a waste of time.
Later I joined a lawsuit about the med. The lawyer laughed at me after getting my medical records. Literally laughed. They said my chart only blamed cannabis and no conversation about the drug that actually made me sick was anywhere in the chart and that that doctor even in her last note blamed cannabis. The second any of the doctors had heard I used it for pain that's the only thing they would believe. Incredibly biased. Every new doctor would just push the old diagnosis forward with no evidence, with no actual clinical basis, including her. After finally realizing it was the med she ended up saying it was "cyclic vomiting" induced by the drug but only documented that it was caused by weed. I will never forget being laughed at by that lawyer because she never updated my chart or documented any of our calls.
It's been 2 years this year with no episode. Not a single episode since I quit the med. I loved her as a doctor but not documenting my chart really messed me up. The incorrect information is still there. I don't trust doctors at all anymore. I don't have insurance anymore so I guess it doesn't matter.
If you use medical cannabis I would avoid Spectrum and MPCP. If you want a doctor that remembers who you are and documents appropriately maybe this clinic isn't for you. That was my experience anyways.

The office staff was absolutely wonderful! And Maia is awesome! Extremely attentive and thorough, and made sure to listen to every concern I had. She assured me throughout the entire appointment that we would address every concern and get to the bottom of what’s going on. I highly recommend this office!

Nicole is very knowledgeable, efficient and thorough. My experience with her as my primary care provider has been great. She listens to your concerns, reviews medical history, gets you the tests you need, without a bunch of wait time or unnecessary visits or delays. Her team is responsive with results and recommendations outside of your scheduled visits. 10/10
