We are a premier child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry center in Washtenaw County and southeastern Michigan. We offer comprehensive state-of-the-art evaluations for all primary mental health conditions and a complete line of therapeutic interventions, including Psychopharmacological interventions, such as ketamine supported psychotherapy and polyvagal pharmacological interventions. Ketamine is offered for mood disorders, PTSD, and complex trauma. A low dose infusion approach is used, with there being little altered states of consciousness or dissociation occurring. Psychotherapy occurs during the infusion period by a psychotherapist who works to both rid the patient of trauma recall and increase the flexibility of fixations.

- ADAlex DixonNov 4, 20255.0I’ve been working with Dr Alessi for over 10yrs. I’ve made significant progress compared to working with other psychiatrists prior to meeting him. I believe this is because of his dynamic skill sets in being able to choose from a wide range of medications and associate it with a positive change in somebody’s affect. Not only does Alessi have this vast perspective and experience in prescribing psychotropics he also provides psychotherapy in tandem with prescribing. Alessi’s psychotherapy approach is to get to know you in a holistic way. He deeply cares about his patients wellbeing. These are not 15-minute check-in’s. He will spend real time with you to better understand how to help you.
