Being someone that has always been fearful of the dentist, Dr. Hestwood and his team have done a wonderful job when caring for me. Always making sure I am comfortable, NUMB, and confirms that I fully understand what is going on with the procedure being performed before getting started. Dr. Hestwood is very punctual and does great work! My family and I are so glad to have found Dr. Hestwood and I will continue to drive 30+ mins to see him as I know the care I will receive everytime. No surprises!

Girlfriend was treated poorly there during a cleaning she has sensitive teeth. So therefore they were going to numb her mouth they put on the numbing cream didn't wait for it to do the job and then jam the needle into her gums really hard and then went and took the other needle and jammed it into the front of her gums real hard and she screamed and said to stop twice and then he finally threw the needle down through his hands up and told her you're the one that wanted this that don't sound very professional to me. How about you take care of your patience better instead of worrying about the damn money she's too afraid to leave the review because she's afraid there's going to be ramifications I'm not afraid to leave the review so if anybody's reading this I highly suggest you do your research and proceed with caution

If I could have given 0 stars I would have! Went in on a Thursday for a few filings which I am not proud of. The Dentist never explained what he was doing or how much longer I would be in his chair. Stuck wondering what he was doing how much longer while I was being drenched with water. I have been to a couple dentist in my lifetime and never once was I not explained what they were doing in my mouth or sprayed with water on my face constantly like I was at this office. I did not think anything of that and just let that slide. Once he was finished, he didn't even make sure I could get dental floss between my teeth. Again, every other Dentist I have been too has done this! Once I was checking out it was when I noticed how rough it was by one of the filings. I mentioned it to the lady at the desk. She acted like that was a normal thing. I explained to her I have had filings before and NEVER have they been rough like this. I was brought back to the chair and the Dentist cleaned the adhesive he left behind. Once I left, I noticed the pain on my right side of my tooth. I blew it off it was just because I was numb. I was VERY numb he was VERY heavy handed when giving the lidocaine shots. When I was finally no longer numb about 4 hours later. I was still experiencing the sensitivity and pain to the right side of my tooth. I looked in my mouth and I had a huge, long open spot where the composite (filing) should be. I called the office right away knowing it was after 4 and they would be closed already, and I knew they were closed Fridays. I was hoping to get an emergency number off their recording which to my surprise all I could do was leave a message. I was terrified I was going to have to deal with this all weekend with the pain. I did receive a call back on Saturday from the front desk lady who explained they do not have an emergency number and the Doctor is out of the office all next week. I was livid you would think having work done they would have mentioned that the Doctor would be out of town when I was leaving. I asked what am I supposed to do now. She really didn't sound too sure but said that they have Dr. Salsberg cover for him. Which I called but not until Monday, so I had to deal with the sensitivity and pain ALL weekend. I called Dr. Salsberg's office the lady at his front desk said they just opened and will have to talk to the Doctor find out what should be done. Two hours later with no call back I decided to call his office again. I was told that as of today (Monday) Dr. Salsberg is out on medical. Kind of funny she made it seem like he was in the office and just had to speak with him. Sounds to me Dr. Salsberg doesn't want to clean up anymore of Dr. Hestwood's mistakes! So, I call Dr. Hestwood's office to ask now what am I supposed to do. Pretty much was told I was out of luck. I asked her what she would do in my situation in pain for 4 days now when I wasn't when I went into the office Thursday. I am going to a whole different Dentist Wednesday (tomorrow) almost a week after Hestwood messed up my tooth. I would not recommend this Dentist to my dog. Very unprofessional, uncaring, rude staff and Dentist!! If you try to go to this office good luck you will need it!!!
