  I drove across town to get my script i called in 2 days prior. Only to be told its on order be here two days. Somebody couldn’t have called me but no and its not the first time. Why is it so hard to find a pharmacy that is on the ball. Get with it people

  My Haanafords store is the nearest to Harpswell, a town w the oldest age population in Maine (a state with the oldest population in the US). Many of us live alone. So why, when I’m sick, I’m not allowed to pay for my RX over the phone so that a friend picking up my RX for me doesn’t have to also come up w the money to pick it up for me??? Horrible, thoughtless customer service!!!!

  BEST PHARMACY EVER!!!! Kathy and Jim are the BEST!!!!! Friendly, knowledgeable and VERY efficient. Kathy went above and beyond to fix an issue w/a prescription. Issue was NOT hannafords fault. I would give them more stars if available.

  Service, both in person and online has improved. Some of the pharmacists will go out of their way to explain or work around issues. Recently with the more than once a month insulin copays. I’m still paying three copays at once, when receiving 75 days worth of insulin. They tried to help. Which is more than the government or insurance companies did. Hannaford is my only in network pharmacy. I really like the drive through, but recommend calling ahead to be sure they are ready. Especially if you have places to be or are low on medication. Staff has almost always been friendly, and most of them are always very professional. In store lines are typically shorter or nonexistent at this newer Hannaford. I switched here even though it’s further from home. I do my refills online. When doing so they give me a time that I can pick them up. They are never ready when online says they will be. I typically wait until they text me, to tell me that it’s ready now. Today I told the pharmacist, “The online said they would be ready yesterday, Tuesday @1 Pm. When she looked at the computer today, on Wednesday, and said, her screen says they would be available today. I don’t know if she’s lying or why she would bother, but her attitude wasn’t the best, so it’s possible. She was not apologetic at all. I don’t know why the online refill system doesn’t work correctly, but it should. There was one other time a different lady asked if she could help me. I said yes I’m here for pick up. After abruptly telling me to switch windows, She looked at the clock and said it was time to go home and passed me off to someone else. Kinda rude, and unprofessional. Since posting this review I am unable to renew prescriptions online. Tried having my doctor send it. Will follow up soon. July 6th, online said it would be ready July 4th at 5pm. They were closed. It’s now July 6th and very hot out. I do not have the patience to wait for anything that online said would be ready two days ago. One Star. At least try to do better.

  Great people work here. They're all very kind, prompt and attempt to help in every way they can with anything I've needed. They are a very busy location (both Brunswick locations are) but still do their very best and it's appreciated. I hope they're fully staffed so the employees working aren't burnt out. Clean looking. Professional. Attentive. Friendly.
