When a family member recommended this store to me, I made a trip to Eyemart as soon as possible. - JYJessica YorkDec 20, 20251.0Do not go here for eye exams! I made an appointment, and I was not aware it was a telehealth appointment until the confirmation email. I should have backed out then, but I went anyway. I specifically made a contact lens prescription renewal appointment. I have worn contacts for over 20 years, and I am very aware of the process. When I got there, they told me they do eyeglasses automatically but didn't say it was an extra charge. I found out when I was leaving and had to pay $89.00 for a glasses prescription. After my appointment with the doctor on the screen, I was informed they didn't keep trials in the building for me to be fitted for. They would need to order them. I would have to come back in 5-10 business days to put them in. After that, I still wouldn't leave with a prescription. I would need to wear them for 2-3 days and come back yet again. At that time, they would authorize my new prescription. Three trips to get one prescription. Absolutely ridiculous! I live an hour away! I called to see if they had an update on my trial pairs coming in. I was told someone would call me back. I'm still waiting for the call back. Five days later, I still have no contact prescription, and I am out $89 for glasses I didn't want or need. I felt bad for the lady at the front. She was the only live person in the building, seemed very new, and had no support. She was nice and friendly. This review is not a reflection of her.
