The pharmacist @ this Giant is not very competent other than filling a prescription anything else he can’t do. It is so discerning that the pharmacist don’t know about the various requirements when it calls for eg., prior authorization & the pharmacist had not a clue about the processing turnaround time, they don’t have any previous notes concerning Rxs at all to help the pharmacist working. They don’t understand their own pharmacy labels of eg., when the next refills it is different on their computer screen. It is really truly ridiculous how it is managed if anyone is managing this store pharmacy. My alternative is zero. All of these pharmacies are the same and all these incompetent managers are only there for their paychecks. It is this way at CVS, Walgreens etc. The problem is unbeknownst to me. It didn’t used to be like to this degree of incompetency about a decade ago. People who were working especially the pharmacist showed more caring about OTC & proactively helped the customers. More than today could give you advice & solutions with your prescriptions. Especially Rxs eg., insulin, blood pressure Rxs and other medicines that are important for the customers to get filled on time. Gone are those days that’s for sure at this Pharmacy. Today is so much out here in left field it will make your blood pressure go through the roof when dealing with these pharmacist people. And don’t let that happen it is definitely not worth it. Because it won’t change a thing I have learned. It is no longer the store’s concern for its always of importance to give good customer service. Today it’s only about these employees feelings & they aren’t even being competent enough. And they seem to perceive they are right and not concerned about what the customer’s issues are & some are not concerned with it either. You have to do it or know what to do. Things are much more complexed & merely left up to the customer to do all the work of the store Pharmacist & you have to make the phone calls to the doctors, the insurance companies etc., because this pharmacist or any of them never heard of doing these type of things that are necessary for them to fill your prescription. But they are getting paid very well. H3ll I can count out with that little gadget the number of pills to put inside the bottles. What is so hard about that? Nothing. But This is all they do trust me. Please check out what the pharmacist duties summarized below and I can testify I have been going to this pharmacy almost six months & I have yet to see any of their duties demonstrated by a pharmacist at this Store Pharmacy & not today 12/17/25 4:00 pm not at all.

I arrived at 9:45 am for a 10 am appointment to receive a COVID booster. Although, I had an appointment, I had to wait until 10:50 to receive my shot. There was no line, yet they waited, as more and more people came to receive their booster shots. Individuals without appointments were told the wait is one hour. However, I had a confirmed appointment and I still waited an hour! Why register? Where is the customer service, which explains to those waiting, what the wait time is? Is was unacceptable and made ALL those waiting turn from pleasant people to being less so.
