- BFBryan FApr 5, 20265.0I highly recommend this facility. My father spent his remaining days here. I can't express enough gratitude for the staff, their support, kindness, professionalism and experience. I dont have much family to rely on for support, but not once did I feel alone or lost throughout the process, and that is a beautiful thing! I also did not feel that my dad was left alone at times that I couldn't be by his side. The staff kept me well informed as he progressed through the stages. The facility itself was also very nice and well kept, and was very peaceful to be in. I loved the birds, I know my dad would have loved them too.
- AEAbigail EisleyMar 24, 20265.0My dad spent 5 days here on respite. The staff was very kind and attentive! My dad really enjoyed the food, which was nice because he did not eat very much at home. He had a beautiful room, looking out onto a courtyard. Deer visited nearby every day. It was clean and bright, and we are so thankful for the time he spent there.
- Y1yeohann 1Mar 18, 20265.0My brother was gravely ill and we chose Gilchrist Towson for him to spend his final days at. The care he recieved was beyond excellent. From the administrative to the medical and nursing aspects of his stay there I only encountered excellence. And if I may give an example of how they went far above normal expectations, my brother had left a cane that was decorated by a lady friend back at his previous stay at Hopkins. Can you believe a nurse got on the phone and tracked this item down and had it commuted to my brother at Gilchrist from Hopkins? He was so grateful. And when my brother did pass away a social worker not only gave me documentation for my bereavement leave at work but set in motion the means for my brother to donate his remains. If Gilchrist was so excellent in these peripheral aspects of their care can you imagine their actual medical care of their patients? Gilchrist I can only say thank you for taking care of my brother. I highly recommend you to the community.
