I have to agree with the MANY commenters who say the office staff makes this experience wildly unpleasant. They put you on hold without notice for long periods, they interrupt you to have conversations with other people without warning you that they are no longer talking to you, they talk over you and don't let you answer the questions they just asked you, they mumble, and get even more rude and upset if you ask them to repeat or ask them to let you finish. I have been going there since 1994 and it happens every time with every person who answers the phone. On the other hand, once you get to the PAs and the doctors you are in good hands but boy they make it miserable to get there.

My mother recommended me to this practice. She has been going there for years. However, my first experience was frustrating. They lost my transfer files and had no motivation to find them until I asked for the office manager. Since then the front office has not gotten any better. They first passed it off as growing pains from new staff, but it has only gotten worse. I recently went to the doctor in reference to my sever exhaustion. When I spoke to the P.A., she seemed to be in a hurry. When my appointment was almost over, I asked one more question. Her answer was to hang in there. Here I am trying to stay awake driving to work and she says hang in there. I did have blood work drawn and she put in an order for me to be able to get the ONE take home sleep apnea machine they have, she said it could take up to three weeks to get it. When I asked if I should go to a practice that focuses on this issue, her response was, you have every right to do that but it will probably take just as long. Then she got up and left. When I did get my bloodwork back she sent a quick message, "your bloodwork is grossly unremarkable". I reviewed my results and saw a result that showed HIGH. She did not schedule a follow up or go into any detail. I had to send a complaint to the office asking for a doctor to contact me. I was able to speak to a doctor that week and she explained the HIGH result and scheduled further testing. A follow up appointment was scheduled. However, the message never said if it was in person or virtual. I sent an email and waited the allotted time. I never received a response. So, I went to the office. When I arrived, I was told they tried to call me, never happened, to tell me it was virtual. I was standing there when the doctor called the front desk to tell them to call me to let me know it was virtual. I was able to see the doctor and speak with her about my concerns.
These are only some of the issues I have had with this office. There have been more. The office staff have been unhelpful and completely incompetent. I am in the process of finding a new doctor.

This practice gets NO stars from me. I have been a patient here for the last 3 years and their level of professionalism and efficiency has decreased alarmingly. The medical staff is great. The administrative staff is horrible. They are rude and unfriendly and completely inefficient. If you call to schedule an appointment you will be on hold for 35 to 40 minutes. If you need a pre-authorization for a prescription; it will take them weeks to accomplish that even if it's just a refill. I've been out of my medication since late October. I sent them the pre-authorization request on Oct. 22nd and I still have not received it. I have contacted them multiple times to check on the status. I contacted them on Friday, Monday and today as well. The person who apparently processes these requests told the other staff member that she was too busy to talk to me and that it could take days for her to complete my request. It has been since October 22nd and she still hasn't done it. I am going to research what medical state officials I can report this practice to because the way they handle patients is unacceptable to say the very least.

Lately, calling to the main number to schedule/re-schedule an appointment takes way too long. Just now I waited on the call just to talk to someone to reschedule my appointment, after over 18 minutes, someone picked up and just dropped the call. And I'm now calling again and still waiting. Yesterday, I was calling in to do the samething, waited on the line for over 10 minutes then the greeting saying that the office was closed even though it was only 4:46 PM.

My family and I have been going to this medical practice for years, and while the nurses, doctors, and medical staff are fantastic. The front office phone services are exceptionally rude. When you call them, it feels like you are bothering them with the need for their services.
