  I had such an exceptional experience at the Severn River Dental Health Center. The bar has been set high by this group. I have been a caregiver for years and have interacted with many medical professionals. As a result, I have my top ten list and this staff has secured their place. It all started with the initial phone call, Winnie was so pleasant and helpful. I explained the visit was for an elderly friend who was a bit apprehensive about an appointment. Winnie explained the process and reassured me she would receive great care. When we arrived, we were greeted by Winnie. She was warm and friendly and made us feel welcomed. It was not your typical procedural appointment check-in. Within minutes, we were greeted by Jackie. She was so very kind. She spent time getting to know my friend. Asking questions, really listening. There was laughter and I realized because of the enjoyable conversation my friend was no longer anxious. Dr. Amanda McPherson walked in and was so genuine and caring. Before any dental issues were discussed she too took the time to get to know her…it was a beautiful thing to observe. Often when with an elderly patient they are overlooked and the conversation is held with their caregiver. Not the case here, my friend was treated with such kindness, respect and concern. Dr. McPherson listened, was so patient and gentle. If I could have written a script for the way I hoped this appointment would go…this exceeded my expectations. Dr. McPherson and staff are so professional, knowledgeable, genuine and caring. They provide a treatment plan and costs up front. All questions were answered. Appointment was not rushed and I’m sure they were busy but they made you feel like the time was all about you. We felt as if we were among friends. I called the next day as I had some questions from a friend who I was referring and spoke to Paige, she was so thorough and helpful was glad I called. I think this Center and the staff have created something very special here. The atmosphere was great, everyone seemed happy to be there. Thought the treatment areas looked nice, modern. I think it says it all when my friend turned to me and said, “I wish every Dr. I went to would treat me like that, I really felt like they cared about me.” Well, I can tell you without hesitation…they did. Thank-you Dr. McPherson and staff for your expertise and outstanding care. Most of all, thank-you for your kindness…I hope it is returned to you in the same beautiful way it was offered.

  Dr. Amanda is wonderful. Staff is very friendly. Explained everything, took time with me, eased my anxiety. Amazed at how nice this practice is.

  Our kids have been going there for a many years. It had been doing great, but last time dental hygienist is doing really quick job for them since they change their hrs and we are the last customer. I also wish they noticed that they don’t take old insurance anymore when we had the appointment. End up we can’t get it done for all that time.
