- JDJames DohertyOct 9, 20191.0Went in this morning to get a flu shot but they wouldn't give it to me because I didn't have my separate prescription card with me, even though my prescription insurance information is on file and they routinely fill my other prescriptions without seeing the card. I went to CVS at Earleigh Heights, who gave me my shot right away no problem, because flu shots are billed under medical coverage as a preventive service, not a prescription drug benefit, so I didn't even need my prescription card. Goodbye Giant Pharmacy, hello CVS. At least CVS seems to know what they are doing and doesn't waste your time.
