Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. Dr. Stephen R. Glaser opened the specialty practice in 1997, dedicated to medical and surgical eye care for children in a warm and supportive environment. Our group of seven pediatric fellowship-trained eye doctors provides top-quality eye care in Montgomery, Frederick, and Howard counties. We have priveleges at Shady Grove, Holy Cross, Howard General, St. Agnes, Frederick Memorial, and Meritus Hospitals, as well as Maple Lawn Surgical Center. We treat children with failed vision screens, amblyopia, strabismus, blocked tear ducts, stye/chalazion, progressive myopia, retinopathy of prematurity (ROP), and other medical conditions.
