  I want to echo what another reviewer mentioned about this location. The staff are rude, unprofessional, and clearly undertrained. As a Black Card member with full access to all locations, I was wrongly told I didn’t have access to this gym and was asked to pay an extra fee. According to the employee, when I scanned my card the system didn’t register my access — yet just a week earlier I checked in and worked out without any issue. She was very rude, dismissive and unapologetic about the whole incident, even when she realized their error after I showed my membership again. The entire ordeal left a bad taste in my mouth, so I reached out to the regional manager. Although he assured me that the employee (who claimed to be a supervisor) would receive additional training, I still haven’t received an apology.

  I really like the gym itself — it’s well-equipped and comfortable. The issue is some of the staff. A few of them are rude or act annoyed when you ask for something. I wish I remembered their names so I could call them out directly, because the experience would be much better with a bit more professionalism and courtesy.

  This is a awesome gym but not perfect. I love it when its 24/7. They have enough equipment for me to use to get a great workout and getting a shower after working out and be in a best spirit when you walk out the gym. The stuff in the early mornings is very welcoming.

  A Hidden Gem & Exceptional Service at Planet Fitness. The first impression of this Rockville Planet Fitness location, particularly its entrance and exterior, doesn't do justice to the experience that awaits inside. However, the moment you step through those doors, you realize it's a whole new world. The atmosphere instantly makes you forget the initial exterior reservations, delivering the "reset" experience many are truly looking for in a gym. The standout element of my arrival was the unmeasured service and attentiveness. I wish I had grabbed the name of the young woman who signed me up; she possessed such a beautiful spirit and made the sign-up process genuinely welcoming and warm. This level of positive, personal attention truly sets the tone and is a rare find in large fitness chains. Beyond the staff, the amenities are designed for ultimate relaxation and convenience. This location goes above and beyond, offering the Total Body Enhancement machine, wonderfully comfortable tilting massage chairs, and the deeply relaxing Hydromassage Lounges. For quick, efficient visits, the 30-minute workout stations are a huge benefit. Furthermore, the commitment to accessibility is clear, as all equipment comes with detailed instructions, removing any guesswork for new or returning members. The entire experience is unquestionably a reset. If a blend of excellent service and restorative amenities is what you seek, this location delivers.

  Have been to a lot of planets for a number of years. By far, my least favorite. Bathrooms are unacceptably un clean. Always wet floors and not from mopping. Sinks and toilets are always wet and dirty. Gym floor is so so. Equipment never is cleaned from what I see unless by a user. Too many treadmills and not enough machines and free weights for the volume the place gets with members. Insanely crowded most evenings with people who have no gym etiquette. Staff plays on their phones behind the desk, per usual. But I’m sure nothing will change, so just let this be the expectation for future and current members.
