A huge advantage is having a firm that manages care and scheduled shifts well even when individual scheduled caregivers become unavailable. There is a lot of inevitable turnover in this industry, and of course, individual caregivers might have unanticipated events arise -- so it is important to have a bench of staffing so all really needed shifts are covered reliably. Because of Home Instead, we were able to keep my aunt in her home for a much longer period than we initially thought feasible.
