  At first, the receptionist gave me a warm welcome, and I thought the visit would go well. But after my first appointment, things completely changed. After the X-rays, I asked the doctor if I had any cavities. She said she couldn’t tell me until I did the cleaning first 😅. I found this very unusual, as I’ve always been told by dentists that cavities can be identified during the exam or from X-rays without needing a cleaning first. During the check-out, the staff presented me with a payment plan that included a deep cleaning and another cleaning four weeks later. When I said I only wanted the deep cleaning, the receptionist insisted that I needed both — and explicitly told me that one cleaning would be covered by my insurance and the other I would have to pay out of pocket, even though she already knew how my insurance worked. When I said I didn’t want to schedule the second cleaning, she kept pushing and made me feel very uncomfortable. It even sounded like she wanted to schedule the paid cleaning first, before using the insurance — which felt very dishonest to me. I’ve never heard of doing two cleanings in one month, especially right after a deep cleaning. I left the office feeling pressured and disappointed. I will not be returning, and I don’t recommend this place to anyone who expects honesty and respect.

  I visited Charming Smiles Family Dentistry in May 2025 for a dental filling, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. After the procedure, I experienced discomfort and pain for nearly three weeks. I notified the dentist about the issue and returned for a follow-up appointment, hoping it would be resolved. However, the discomfort continued, and it became clear that the problem had not been properly addressed. I sought a second opinion and was informed by another dentist that the original filling was not done correctly. I returned to Charming Smiles around June 9th to get the issue corrected. During that visit, the dentist mentioned she would be working on my gum, but I explained that the issue was with the filling, and I did not feel comfortable having unnecessary work done. Instead of addressing my concern with understanding, she responded with a rude attitude and made me feel uncomfortable. Although she eventually agreed to fix the filling, her demeanor was unprofessional and dismissive. This experience has left me very disappointed, not just with the quality of care, but also with the overall customer service. When a patient is in pain and expresses discomfort, they deserve to be listened to with empathy and treated with respect—not met with hostility or indifference. I sincerely hope Charming Smiles takes this feedback seriously and works on improving both their dental care standards and how they interact with patients. Kindness, communication, and professionalism go a long way in healthcare.

  I paid $600 for teeth whitening call Zoom at this charming smile on 07/12/2021 yesterday, my teeth is still very brown , I am so dissapointed

  I had to get 3 teeth pulled😳😭 I have a big phobia going to dentist. She was amazing. Caring; patient; thoughtful; professional. Great bedside manners. Her staff are super sweet kind and friendly. I highly recommend this Dentist. I will continue to go back there and start taking my kids as well. If this big chicken can go and get her teeth pulled first time I may add so can you. I left my earbuds in at least in one ear lol while listening to The Weekend to help keep me calm because I have high anxiety already and with COVID-19 and everything else going on in the world it makes my anxiety extremely high. Thank goodness lightening to Weekend really helped me get through it. Place is clean and organized very professional. Highly recommended her.💖💖💖💖
