Why are there so many bad reviews for the grocery store? Can you people not read? You are reviewing the pharmacy only! That's why it says "Safeway Pharmacy" and not "Safeway" up top. smh
This place is 100x better than Walgreens; so much faster; I can often wait for it instead of hearing "we will have it done in the morning" and then calling at 13:00 and then they say it will be ready in an hour. Walgreens is just terrible lately!
One thing they would never do- is if their computer system shut down they would never close all the windows and hide in the back and pretend not to be there while confused customers are banging on the window while the pharmacy techs and the pharmacist pretend not to see them. And yes this happened at Walgreens recently.
But there are many other good things about this pharmacy besides the fact that it is not Walgreens.
Tony, specifically, is the man! Best pharmacist ever!
Only negative is the ridiculously large Rx bottles, one size for all medications; necessitating me buying my own from Amazon (small bottles, not medication). But that's Safeway corporate I assume who makes that choice. But it is pretty ridiculous to get a bottle that is filled only 10% full because somebody at corporate decided they didn't want to be bothered with stocking multiple items. An elderly person who takes like a dozen prescriptions would have to dedicate an entire drawer to their pill bottles. A big drawer. Like an entire sock drawer. These things are freaking huge!
Also I commonly have to wait in line at Walgreens for up to 25 minutes, sometimes longer if it is right after work. At this Safeway I never have to wait more than five minutes even at peak time.
Keep up the good work Tony!

Customer service sucked. You pay extra for delivery time even though it was supposed to be free the first time. They never showed up. No one could tell me when they left the store or if my refrigerated items would be ok. Excuses after excuses that told me nothing. I asked for a supervisor none ever called. Now i want a refund and they wont send anything by email to confirm it. I will never shop here again. Safeway is horrible in the store and online. I hope they rot! Do not waste your time. Or money.

I love this pharmacy. Sometimes the wait is long due to short staff but there always professional. They go out there way to get services done for you. They show that they care.
