- JSJim SongDec 17, 20255.0Dr. Zhang is the best eye doctor, among the six (6) eye-doctors whom I had met since I bought my home in Greencastle PA five (5) years ago; Three (3) of them are near my home, the other three (3) are n Hagerstown, including the famous surgeon of the Vision Institute of Maryland, Dr. Stern; who has misdiagnosed my left-eye pain, as Anger Closure Glaucoma, also warned me as that: without his surgery within 7-10 Days, my left eye would be lost irreversible, on 9/06/2022. For which I declined his advice, and only let him do my left-eye cataract surgery on 9/13/2022. After that, I notified him many times: "my left pupil is much larger than the right one", till 12/15/2025, when Dr. Zhang told me the same issue; I replied to her: "I might have been used to it after 3 years". I would highly recommend Dr. Zhang for any new comers who move to this boarder area between Hagerstown MD and Greencastle PA.

- ZCZach CottleNov 23, 20252.0It was kinda bad. My appointment was at 10:15 AM on a Thursday and I arrive at 9:55 AM and the doctor is not there yet and someone was already ahead of me. I watch the doctor come in around 10:05 AM. She got the first person through and I was back at maybe 10:25 AM. The appointment took around 20 minutes and I won't lie the doctor seemed a bit like she was in a hurry because she was flipping through the different lenses faster than I could really tell the difference as to what looked clearer. When I advised her of this, she didn't really seemed all that concerned and just kept flipping through the lenses. Eventually I just went with whatever I felt was clearer after only a second of looking through each lens. She also didn't hand my current set of glasses back to me and I had to ask for them back after we were finished. I purchased my own frames and brought them to the appointment as well. In total I got all the lens upgrades I could and the lens warrenty (which is only a year) and the total was just under $300 after insurance. I was advised I would get my glasses back in 2-3 weeks. I prefer MyEyeDr over this place for sure but they were cheaper and my insurances preferred eye care providor. I maybe wouldn't go to this particular eye doctor again but I would be open to trying other target optical locations.
