- MMMarkApr 4, 20252.0If you have more than 20 items, you're NOT ALLOWED to use self-checkout. That's a huge issue when most of the time they only have one single register open! So if someone in front of you has an issue with their coupons or payment – tough luck! Your only option is to wait. I stood in line without moving for 10 full minutes before I gave up and dumped half my cart so I could qualify for the HONOR of self-checkout. Terrible policy! Either let everyone use the self-checkout, or staff enough registers to handle your customer volume!!
