I had an excellent experience at LensCrafters at Westview Promenade, Frederick, MD. Allison was so helpful and patient with me as I was trying to find a frame that would work well for me. She also explained that my insurance plan is really great and that I would be able to opt into higher level lenses and not incur a price increase with my current insurance plan. Thank you, Allison.

I wish I could leave zero stars. Shame on this company for making it impossible to cancel an appointment and no wonder you don't have any appointments for over a month-I bet that's because you have tons of no shows.

I have had glasses for eight years, and this was the best experience I have ever had. Throughout the entire process, I felt like the people taking care of me truly cared. When picking out frames, the staff was nothing but helpful and accommodating. They used an electronic device to measure my face to get the best fit possible. The actual exam was of the same quality. It was thorough, and the doctor answered all my questions. I felt like my needs and concerns were their top priority. Once my glasses were ready, they made sure everything fit correctly and told me to come back for cleanings and adjustments. 10/10 recommend.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
