  We have used Home Instead Frederick MD for my father-in-law for the last several years. Lydia has been his primary care giver and has been wonder to him and to us. I really can't say enough good things about how well she has taken care of him.

  We recently hired Home Instead after my mom’s rehab center stay so she would have some additional help while I was at work. Her Care Pro, Huda, was wonderful! My mom really liked her, she was super helpful around the house and my mom felt very comfortable with her. I would recommend this service!

  My dad and I used services of the Frederick, MD Home Instead for 5 1/2 years and are more than pleased with the outcome. The adjustments they were able to make during a global pandemic for this vulnerable population were truly a life-saver for my dad who needed transportation care to dialysis the times each week. For an only child living more than 450 miles from their sole living parent, effective communication and efficiency were critical when selecting a provider. The option of the family portal gives the assurance that he is receiving te care. It was new to everyone and we learned and grew in the process. The office staff has been amazing even through a variety of transitions. Above all, I cannot leave a review without praising my father's primary caregiver, Racheal Goodman. She was with him for the majority of our time of service. Admittedly, we were both a bit apprehensive when his then 'favorite' caregiver moved on. It didn't take long for him to be won over by Racheal. She goes above and beyond on all levels! My dad never missed an opportunity to tell anyone who will listen how much he appreciates her and that she is 'a good cook!' (Little does he realize that she is cooking to his special dietary needs as a dialysis patient;) Racheal researches recipes, shops, adjusts preparation methods and serves meals to my dad’s liking. She also has prepared dishes for family events so he can make a contribution to the menu. (Way beyond his daughter's skill set!) It speaks volumes when a 95 + year young man trusts his caregiver enough for her to enter his home while he is hospitalized, find his checkbook, bring it to his hospital room and prepare the home for the carpet to be cleaned. Additionally, she accompanied him to an accountant (that she located) to have his taxes prepared. Above all, when my dad passed away last month, I knew that I needed to notify Rachael in person, we cried together, she shared stories and fun times she had with my dad. At the funeral, family members all asked to meet Rachael. She truly became family. Obviously, my comments/examples could continue but may be far too lengthy for a review. Our appreciation for Racheal's ability to foresee any challenges, needs or preferences goes beyond words. She brought an assurance and peace to our family that is second to none! Thank you Home Instead and thank you Rachael!
