  I was excited about Miracle Ear hearing aids. My mom kept advocating for them because of her cousin’s experience & kept encouraging me to go to them. So I did. Excited as I said. I had my hearing test and the audiologist went through his sales spill while I wore hearing aids delighted I could hear. We talked about features like the app to stream my phone thorough my hearing aids and how my previous ones also worked with my tv so i didn’t have to jack it up so loud to blow everyone else in the house out. He nodded and assured me I would have the ability to do the same. Matter of fact I think tv volume was his opening sales line. Anyway, I signed paperwork & signed what looked like a Docusign disclosure which disclosed a 9.9 interest rate to finance the over $6000 purchase I thought he said for 120 months, with no prepayment penalty. As I said I was excited. They also wanted over $600 down payment, which I wasn’t expecting, when I said as much he reduced it to $320. Wrapping up to leave, I was told they had to order my actual hearing aids and they would be available in a couple days. I scheduled my appointment 2 days later.i went back to pick them up and was met with a few surprises. First, in order to use my hearing aids with the tv I needed to purchase an additional device, a box to wire them in somehow for another $250. Ok that was bad enough, but then I had to resign my Docusign. The previous documents were gone/blank. Nothing was left but my signature. Now the interest rate was 16.99% for 60 months. Highway robbery. I was aghast.i felt completely lied to & told them so. He kept apologizing and agreeing that my feelings were valid. I walked out. Then I started thinking about being able to hear again. So I turned around and went back. I thought I’ll call my credit union and get a personal loan to finance them. I picked them up and took them home. Meanwhile I kept thinking about how this business had began our relationship by lying to me. And the more I thought about it I thought it was reprehensible. What else would they lie to me about over the at least 3 years they told me they would take care of all my hearing needs. I started doing some research. Another company with reportedly superior technology called me with an offer. $2000 less, 6.99% financing for 36 months, through the same finance company as Miracle Ear offered or should I say tried to jam on me. Watch these people. They’re sheisters. Oh I forgot that 30 day risk free trial, isn’t free or risk free. It’ll cost you $320. Turn around and run the other way. There are better options. And others are ethical. Do the research first. & by all means if you sign anything on that computer, make sure they give you a copy. I returned those hearing aids. But I lost my down payment. What sheisters. They give the Vet who started Miracle Ear a bad name.
