I’ve been going to Club Pilates Crofton for almost a year now, and it has truly become one of my favorite places. I started off taking just two classes a week, but I loved it so much that I switched to the unlimited membership. I recently hit 100 classes, and I’m so proud of how far I’ve come — all thanks to this amazing studio!
The entire team is so kind, welcoming, and supportive. Every instructor has their own unique teaching style, which keeps each class fun, challenging, and motivating. The environment is always positive, clean, and encouraging — perfect for both beginners and those who want to push themselves.
Highly recommend Club Pilates Crofton to anyone looking to get stronger, feel supported, and enjoy their fitness journey!

I loved the energy for this location. Every individual I came in contact with was friendly, kind, and patient (I have a shoulder injury obtained from a former pilates class). At this Club Pilates they were understanding and assisted me with variations that allowed me to still participate. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I'm looking forward to my next class.

I took an Intro class at the Crofton location 8/11. I previously took mat Pilates, but had never practiced on the reformer. I enjoyed the class, but opted to proceed with drop-in classes since I have back issues and wanted to ensure that the practice would be good for me.
I’ve now taken several Flow 1 classes that I enjoyed very much with no adverse impact on my wellness. I opted to purchase 4-class packs and now, I’m ready for a 8-class monthly subscription.
I was also hesitant to purchase a recurring membership, since it was challenging to find open classes during the day. I am retired and a private yoga teacher so my schedule is pretty flexible. I prefer daytime classes during the week when most folks are working. However, even this timeframe is difficult to find open classes. I understand that they are planning to add more classes at the Crofton location after new teachers complete training. I also found that planning and scheduling a couple of weeks in advance helps, too.
The following is additional feedback:
- I suggest Club Pilates include a more comprehensive review of the reformer and other equipment, e.g., how it works, how to make adjustments, and a more detailed overview or demo of the various classes offered.
- Based on how they have set up the studios it does not lend itself to having teachers demonstrate as they teach. As a result, students are looking at each other for clarity on what to do. The problem is there’s no guarantee the student you’re looking at is doing the exercise correctly. Perhaps, consider adding a “true beginner” class for new students to get acclimated OR expand the Intro class or both.
- I suppose offering 50 minute classes allow you to clean up and start the next class on the hour or half hour. However, I think the classes should be an hour long.
- The teachers are excellent. Of course, teaching and cueing styles vary. Over time, students can identify what they prefer and book classes in line with their personal preferences.
- As a yogi, the breath work (i.e., when to inhale/exhale) is opposite, but I’ve adjusted. My only suggestion relates to standing balance cues. (I’ve only taken Flow 1 classes so other classes may cue differently.) When you engage your body, and most importantly your abs, and get a focal point or “dristhi”, balance is easier to obtain and maintain.
Overall, I’m enjoying my add-on Pilates reformer practice and the positive impact on my body including firming, toning and strengthening.

Club Pilates Crofton MD is 100% my happy place! Currently on a weight loss journey, I joined Club Pilates Crofton in March 2025 and have not only lost a significant amount of weight, but have a brand new body! All of the instructors are amazing and the staff are all friendly and wonderful. Everyone is very welcoming and the studio is nice and clean. I went from attending 3 days per week to now attending everyday.
