  My doctor literally died, and nobody contacted me to inform me of that. Then, when I asked for a refill of medication to last until I could see a new doctor, they gave me a run around about completing forms for a week straight. And I had been a patient there for over 5 years!

  We took an appointment even though this place was all the way out in columbia because it's the only in-network practice that would do the testing we asked for. We had to wait months and months for an appointment, come to a pre-testing appointment, and take a couple days off work for testing. I mention all this because when we got there on the day of testing, they said we can't proceed unless we give them $150 dollars. Like a mob shakedown. Then they made me sign a paper that we acknowledge that insurance won't reimburse the $150 cash grab. My only choices were to pay the 150, or have everything up to that point be a waste and start over with the nearly year-long process of getting testing done. It was straight up extortion. Such a a low-class, bush-league move. 1-star. Would NOT recommend.

  And a year later they have managed to get even worst. Won’t even fill out a disability form for school. Won’t pick up phones. Won’t return emails. This practice is a joke. I just straight up left. Just go else where. For your own peace of mind. Getting a hold of front desk or even your doctor of 2 + years is a nightmare and quite impossible honestly. Refills? A headache.

  I was surprised to see such a low rating on Google for the COLUMBIA COUNSELING CENTER (CCC) due to my experience always being a professional one. The administrative staff of the CCC are great and my Doctor is exceptional with there never being an issue with appointment scheduling that cannot be resolved. I Highly recommend this establishment and the individuals who provide services within it.
