  Dr. Rafat attempted to sell me a crown procedure that was ultimately determined to be unnecessary. When I expressed concern, based on my past experience of having received four unnecessary fillings from previous dentists, he became personally offended rather than addressing the issue clinically. My previous dentist failed to provide X-rays demonstrating medical necessity for my previous fillings. Instead, he stated that he was “on the board” and implied that pursuing a complaint against Dr. Mo at Timonium Family Dentistry would be futile. After declining the procedure, the office repeatedly contacted me asking if I still wanted the crown, despite my clear decision. I later obtained a second opinion, which confirmed that the crown was unnecessary. My tooth healed naturally without intervention. This experience raised serious concerns about professionalism, informed consent, and the promotion of unnecessary dental procedures that often lead to further invasive treatments such as root canals and crowns.

  I had a great experience at Valley Dental. Dr. Izadi and Tia were patient, attentive, and took the time to really listen to my goals and concerns. They worked with me to put together a thoughtful, flexible plan that felt clear and reassuring. I feel confident moving forward and, for the first time in a long while, I’m genuinely looking forward to smiling. Highly recommend.

  Awful experience in getting retainer. I called them several times to purchase new retainers. But the only responses I got is that the doctor will check if they have access to my records and get back to me. Several weeks has passed. No answers at all. This hold me up in making my next step plan . They really don’t care about the patient.

  This office is extremely frivolous with patients time. You will spend an incredible amount of time not being seen here.

  After two experiences with them with simply cosmetic procedures as I have another dentist I see for more standard dental health I’m just really disappointed at their long lasting care. I pay out of pocket for this and I won’t recommend this dentistry until they fix the issue or compensate me for my time. I’m talking thousands. Until they make it right I will not recommend to ANYONE. so far expensive for cheap work
