  I went in for my glasses arm to be tightening because this frame has been pulling my hair out on the one side (design flaw?) and the employee who helped was so kind because I just mentioned that I wanted to come back for contacts as well as the frames I have at home to have the prescription I have in the frames being used and she was able to get it all done right then and there without me having to make an extra appointment for it all! I was pleasantly surprised that it’s all done now! This employee is newer and more pleasant than the other employees who I feel like I’m bothering every time I go there. She seemed genuinely happy to help me. Side note, she was dressed amazing and I absolutely loved the earrings she was wearing the way her whole outfit looked she was stylish without being over the top or drab like some of the other employees there.

  I’ve been to Target Optical in California, MD a few times in recent years, specifically to purchase glasses for my daughter. Denise helped us this last time and it was a great experience. The store was busy when we arrived but only had to wait a few minutes. While we were waiting a different employee (didn’t get her name) checked in with us to say we would be next. It was nice to be acknowledged even though they were busy, and told when we would be helped. Denise was helpful explaining the different lens options and took the time to go through all the options to find the best one for our needs and budget.

  Everything was fine until I went to pick up my glasses. I was told when I went to check on my husband's glasses that they were not in and to come back when I received a text. 10 minutes later I received a text. The manager. Of the store in California, Maryland then told me they just must have come in. Two days later, I got a text and picked up my glasses. When they were not adjusted to fit my eyes or my face, I asked her to adjust them please she adjusted them told me they were perfectly straight and it was not anything wrong with the glasses. It was my face. To try it for a few days and come back and she would happily fix them. A few days passes I come back same store manager looks at the glasses and says to me again they are perfectly straight. Your face is puffy or on one side. If I fix them, I will have to bend them in the middle and completely miss shape them to fit your face. Your face is crooked. She then bent my glasses in the middle where the nose sits. One side of my eyeglasses didn't wrap behind my ear at all. It sucks straight out past the back of my head. So I went to a local eye retailer, and they fixed it for me free of charge. And then at 3:30 PM on March 16 with the heavy tornado scare warnings, the manager of the Target Optical calls me after I had asked a sales associate for her name to call corporate and complain. Why I would do such a thing. I explained to her that I was at home and not in a headspace to be confronted by her as I was not at Target at the moment and this was an inappropriate way to deal with this as she is a manager of a store and I am a customer. In the end, she was rude confrontational and did not help me fix my problem.
