We were assisted by Aijah, who helped us choose the frames that we liked. Aijah showed patience as we tried on a few different styles, and took her time to explain the various types of lenses that were available. Our new eye glasses were ready in less than two weeks, and when we picked the frames up, we were assisted by Thaina who had a very pleasant personality as well. She asked questions to make sure that my wife and I were satisfied with both our frames and prescriptions. After about a week or so, I felt as though something wasn't quite right with my eye glasses, so I returned to the store, and was again assisted by Thaina. She is very knowledgeable, and after asking a few more questions and taking additional measurements, Thaina discovered that I actually needed computer progressive lenses. What's the difference between an ophthalmologist and an optometrist?
While both are eye doctors, they have different responsibilities. An optometrist will check the overall health of the eye and determine if glasses are needed. If we determine that medical procedures are needed, or if there’s a medical concern, we refer the patient to an ophthalmologist.

Requirements: Position requires bachelor’s degree in biology. Position also requires at least 12 months of experience in the job offered or in the alternate occupation of ophthalmic assistant or optometrist assistant.
