However, I recently had a new prescription and was told by the doctor to take one pill each morning. After taking a full pill for the first several days, I noticed the label indicated that the pills needed to be cut in half to get to the required dosage. I never had a prescription filled that required splitting the pill. I wish someone had told me when I picked up the prescription.
