I can’t express how much of a pleasant experience I have anytime I come to their office. Brooklyn Park Dental, in Baltimore, is by far the best dental office you will find for any of your dental needs. Here you will truly get worlds class excellent care. The physicians- Drs. Freddy and Levi are laid back competent dentists. They have great bed side manner, very thorough, empathetic, and friendly. I live in College Park, and have very tight work schedule. I always come to Brookly park dental because it’s like visiting a family member. All of the staff is so friendly, warm towards providing great care and working around your schedule. Dr. Freddy Flanagan is my care professional, and he does amazing work. All 5-star reviews are well deserved. -Mobeen

I am 100% satisfied. The specialist who performed my deep dental cleaning was fast, knowledgeable, and extremely skilled at her job, I felt absolutely no pain neither from the injections nor during the cleaning procedure itself. Thank you

I needed an emergency dentist for an inlay that fell out. Oh my gosh! I was given an appt within 24 hours of calling and received some of the best dental care I have experienced in a long time. I am only visiting the area but if I lived here, I would choose Brooklyn Park as my famiy dentist.

Edited for a second time: interesting that this business only chose to reply to this when I realized I had initially posted it 6 months ago under my professional account, so I reposted it from a personal account that doesn't share my full name. Since I'm back, let's also add that Dr L made my oldest child (that has documented disabilities and needed special treatment in order to be seen there) feel like crap bc when his younger brother got a little trinket fro. the treasure chest after the appointment, he asked if he could have one too and Dr L basically made him feel like he was too old and should be embarrassed he asked for it (hand gestures and all). My family of 6 now go somewhere else that doesnt see us as dollar signs and my aunt with her family of 6 has also started going to the new place. TWELVE PEOPLE have opted to go somewhere else, and I will keep telling everyone around me about our experiences. Edited to add that 6 months later, after 3 requests (1 in person and 2 over the phone) to have my entire family removed from their patient list, contact list, EVERYTHING- we are still getting texts and emails trying to get us in there. I also didnt mention in the first review that at my initial cleaning, they popped off one of my fillings aggressively flossing and then made me pay for the repair. Everything was fine with this office until it became clear that money comes before patient care. My family of five has been coming here consistently: never late, never missing an appointment. Despite that, this is the only medical provider I’ve ever seen where if you don’t confirm an appointment, they cancel it without even notifying you (though they’ll call and text repeatedly asking you to confirm). The first time this happened was December of last year. I explained that I already struggle with dental anxiety and take a sedative before visits, which makes last-minute cancellations especially difficult. Instead of understanding, Dr. F responded by saying many patients have state insurance and around the holidays “money is tight,” so they cancel unconfirmed appointments to fill slots. Not only was this offensive, but it also felt like a baseless assumption about me and other patients. They promised to “flag” my account so it wouldn’t happen again. Multiple family appointments with no issue after that. Fast forward to today: I left work early, showed up for my 1:00 appointment (after waiting outside 20 minutes while the office was closed for lunch), only to be told once again, “Oh no, you didn’t confirm, so your appointment was cancelled.” No call. No text. No respect for my time. I immediately cancelled all future appointments for myself and my family. I’ve never had a healthcare provider require confirmation to keep an appointment, especially when I already confirm at the time of booking and track everything in my calendars. Most offices simply charge a no-show fee if you miss—it’s fair and professional. Here, however, patients who show up on time are punished because they didn’t jump through an extra hoop. I had even referred extended family to this office, but after this experience, I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. The lack of professionalism, disregard for patients, and tone-deaf policies are absolutely unacceptable.

I experienced a similar situation to another poster here. I had an appointment scheduled for December that I had to cancel due to a conflicting meeting on the same day. I called to reschedule and they couldn't get me another appointment until March. I took that appointment. My regular phone was not working at the time so I had given the receptionist my wifi number, as well as my email. I received an email confirming my appointment and it said to call if there were any questions. I showed up at the appointment 15 minutes early, only to be told they had canceled it because I didnt confirm I would be there. I had no missed calls and no emails regarding the cancelation. None of the prior correspondence said anything about needing to confirm. I was told I could wait and see if an appointment didnt show up. So I waited 45 minutes only to be told that I would need to reschedule. As someone who suffers from anxiety, I had to take medication to be there in the first place. As a single mom, I needed to get a babysitter just so I could go. So even though I was offered an appointment in April, I will again have to go through the trouble of finding child care. I am beyond disappointed. This is not the first time I have had had issues with reception, as I have repeatedly had times where I have tried to call for emergency situations, only for the calls and messages to go unanswered. And to think I have also recommended this dentist office to family and was considering taking my children there as well. Looks like I will be looking for a new dentist office.
