After going to several podiatrists in the Annapolis area, I settled on Annapolis Foot & Ankle Center. I've been going here for several years and I always receive excellent service.

So many things to say about this place..... They sold me on getting insoles and then they were clearly made wrong for my foot. When the doctor (the young one) lined them up he noticed it but then was like "oh it's fine" because blah blah. I continue to have pain, got a second opinion from another doctor, and that doctor was like ok well stop wearing these insoles because the ball of your foot is on a hard corner AND THAT GOT RID OF MOST OF MY PAIN. It also took them forever to get my xrays because the girl didn't know what she was doing and then the position my foot had to be in to get the xrays was painful. Their communication to their patients and their paperwork is horrendous. I was not told to make a follow up appointment after receiving the insoles and was just sent on my way with the direction to stretch and take vitamin d. As someone who does yoga and does not have low vitamin d, that direction was a joke. But when I received my records, it said patient was advised to make a follow up appointment for the insoles. Also, in my initial appointment, I was told one diagnosis but my records that I had to ask for when switching doctors said something different.

I’m thankful for the doctor doing a great job in the procedure I needed done but was not impressed with the shifting recommendations on when the stitch removal would be or how fast the doctor is with everything, not taking the time to address a patient as a person seems disingenuous which is not very settling in a medical environment nor giving me proper instructions post-op. The problem I have with this office is with their lack of professionalism with the nasty receptionists (not all of them but some), leaving me on hold for half hours at a time, not getting my surgery authorized in the proper time (blaming the weather? And then blaming my insurance), they have the wrong address listed online for eastern shore location and then tried to turn me away for being more than 5 minutes late because of it, the two office locations don’t communicate properly nor do they give you the right information, mere guesses. Lack of empathy with everyone in that office, dirty looks, terrible attitudes from some of the techs. Doctor said I was weightbearing immediately after surgery, definitely wasn’t the case. Husband tried to contact him and get crutches and he ignored us. Overall really wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless you want to spike your blood pressure and get really frustrated.
